Raina
Hi all, It's tipping it down here,i went to check on the girls and found some of the sawdust wet in the Poo Tray the rain is going down the eglu then going into the gap at the back and into the poo tray. Is there anything i can do to stop it?
Patricia W
Try angling it so it runs straight to the ground. Another thought is to check if the tray is in properly. If it's slightly out it will catch the rain Tricia
Raina
The tray is pushed in all the way & i have no way of angling it as it's on a flat ground
Plum
What about a few stones under the front.
GillC
Hi all, It's tipping it down here,i went to check on the girls and found some of the sawdust wet in the Poo Tray the rain is going down the eglu then going into the gap at the back and into the poo tray. Is there anything i can do to stop it? Thanks for posting this. I've been noticing the poo tray had been a bit damp of late, and searched to see if I could find traces of a leak. I couldn't and so assumed it was because the hens maybe had wet feet and were dripping on it. I've been worrying a bit about it, but now at least I know why it's happening and maybe will just clean and dry the tray out after rain.
