Just to let you all know the cheap shops (Poundland and 99p Stores) have several types of seed potatoes and onion sets (red and white) in at the moment. 99p Stores also have packets of seeds at 39p each or 4 for 99p. Poundland have those multi packs of seeds, where you get six little packets in one big outer, ideal for the smaller garden.

I got my onion sets from Lidl,or somewhere like that,last year,& they did really well.

So well in fact that I am doing whole beds of them this year - we eat a lot of Onions!

My local 'The Works' shop in Leicester has two big bins full of vegetable seeds 3 for a pound. They're all 2010 seeds and big name brands. Worth checking out if you have 'The Works' in your town.
