Guest
OK here's the scores for this week!! Dan has made a rampant debut - top scoring two weeks running - and surging to the top of the table!!! He scored 7 points this week - the highest ever - scoring all six on the sunday games!! Helen, Lorna, Phil and Chelsea did well - and stayed in contention - with 5 points each Annie chipped in with a creditable 4, whilst Martin continued his poor form with just 2... so.. Dan is Prediction Princess this week!!! well done Dan!! name total Dan 23 Helen 21 Phil 20 Annie 19 Chelsea 19 Lorna 19 Martin 13 NB.. Martin appealed to FIFA over the fact that the bolton/fulham game was printed as Fulham v Bolton rather than Bolton v Fulham - implying that it was a home game for fulham.. the FIFA committee considered the matter sympathetically - but rejected the appeal on the following grounds: 1. all participants should do their own homework! 2. there's no way of knowing what Martin would have predicted 3. anyone predicting Bolton to lose is on a sticky wicket 4. Martin had a go at Thierry Henry for moaning!! So there we have it - Dan is emerging as a formidable force!!! wolves will appear next week - along with a wild-card team! Guest
just had to post this.. chelsea
wow talk about acrobatics. good pic the table's quite close isnt it.... not many points between us. I also did my score based on Fulham being at home, but hey im not worried I saw the Lehmann incident again on skysports (missed it yesterday) it is SO FUNNY when he pretends to knock the advertising board. He's quite a character isnt he.

gooner.girl
Here's what the lovely Thierry had to say today (from "Ooops, word censored!"nal website) Thierry Henry has dismissed his altercation with Chris Kirkland as “funny”. The "Ooops, word censored!"nal captain exchanged words with the Wigan keeper when Fitz Hall turned the ball into his own net with nine minutes to go at Emirates Stadium on Sunday. It brought the scores level at 1-1. Before that, Henry believed Kirkland had been time-wasting to protect his side’s one-goal lead. Tempers flared temporarily but, at full time, both players were happy to leave their argument on the pitch. “Kirkland started to waste time from the first minute on,” said Henry. “I do not know if you can call that fair play or not. “It was one of the games where I ran the most because I wanted to get the ball back from him. There was a funny side to it. We were laughing about it but, at the same time, it was a bit annoying aswell. “He just said to me: `Come on Thierry what do you want me to do?’ and I said: 'Yes, but not from the first minute’. I don’t know how many times he went from right to left and left to right. Jens did it once and he took a yellow. “However at the end of the game it was fine. I shook Kirkland’s hand and said ‘I’m sorry but I have to say you kind of wasted time from the first minute’.” So what are you all making such a fuss about guys!?
