docsquid
I've had one of These in black for the last couple of years. It gets a huge amount of wear, and has finally started to leak slightly where my rucksack rubs on the right shoulder. Nevertheless, it is the best waterproof jacket I've ever had, and has lasted longer than any other before leaking. It was expensive when I bought it (about £150), but I found the above link selling it off at £29.99! I use outdoor waterproof jackets a lot, so I've ordered two of them - one to wear and one to keep in reserve. Just thought I'd give you guys the heads-up as it is a good jacket - I wouldn't recommend it if it wasn't. It is unlined though - it is a very lightweight jacket, so in winter you need an extra layer to keep warm.
Patricia W
That's a fantastic bargain! Wonder if it would do for my trip to Canada? Tricia
ubereglu
That's good value. I have a great joules waterproof I bought in last Winter's sale, so I got it with 75% off and only paid £22.25. I think it was the best purchase I made last year!

docsquid
wow, that jacket would be great for running Yes, it is. Like I say - it is unlined, so it is lightweight and it is not warm. In winter I just wear layers of jumpers/fleeces if it is very cold. It is extremely waterproof. I have found that all Gore-Tex jackets, given enough rubbing by straps of a rucksack, will eventually start to break down and leak, but it has given me good service.
