Sarahsausage
I have had to starve my hen Hilda for a couple of days and now introduce soft foods, what would be OK? Is scrambled egg OK? Porridge oats? Tuna? Cat food?
Lavenders_Blue
How about some pellet porridge mixed up fairly sloppy? Or some weetabix/porridge oats made up fairly sloppy? The pellet porridge would be more nutritious though.

Cranfield Kate
mine love oatibix but you need to add a LOT of water - you could build houses with that stuff.
chickencam
One of mine loves cat food. If they are free ranging and we open the back door she is in the kitchen before you can blink and can scoff a bowlful in about 30 seconds much to the cats' annoyance. sandyhas3chucks
ready brek made with water, live yoghurt, with some bokashi. I would also recomend esp for her pureed apples.
Sara-W
I've found that sloppy ready brek, tuna, natural probiotic yoghurt and chopped up boiled egg were successful!
clucky chicken
Hi - I would have asked the same question as my Polly is just getting over impacted crop - but she doesn't seem to want mash/pellet porridge, or yogurt, or pureed apple!!! Fussy hen! Think I might try tuna and egg - and if she doesn't like that then the other hens will - surely! Thanks all - Sarahsausage - glad Hilda is on the mend!
