Chucky Mama
We have a large spur thighed and he loves cucumber, grapes, broccoli, pear, dandelion leaves, peas, strawberries (especially when stolen from the garden - his red face is a dead giveaway however innocent he tries to look) and mange tout. bellekatz
You can see what they should eat here, from the tortoise trust. http://www.tortoisetrust.org/care/cpardalis.html Basically grasses with very little wet food as they come from a semi-arid environment and too much wet food including fruit will cause colic. Raina
Leopard tortoises need to be fed on a mainly grass diet (Hay,Grass ect) My Leopard tortoise has a 50/50 sand soil mix for substrate and a layer of something called redi-grass.She will/can eat the redi-grass. During the winter/colder months she is fed on mixed bags of shop bought lettuce and grass from the garden. Oh and Hi Kerry,Glad you joined
