Alis girls
Went to see it yesterday and was pleasantley surprised as some modern films are loud, in yer face and plain boring. I really enjoyed this - special effects good and story not too naff. Pierce Brosnan sporting horses body and legs was bit scarey last time I saw him he was attempting a song in Mamma Mia. Off to see Meryl Streep film "Its complicated" with the girls tonight. My kids enjoyed PJ - sutiable for teens and 5 + I'd say.

Alis girls
Its worth seeing Cinnamon _ I have sat thro a lot of tripe in recent yrs and kids won't let OH go with them as he falls asleep and snores. Last film I saw Alvin and the chipmunks - I couldnt get over how the baddy looked like a mates OH. Also 3 female chipmunks singing Beyonce was mega freaky
Yorkshire Pudding
We saw Percy this week and thoroughly enjoyed it. DS1 dashed home to try writing his own Greek Myth-inspired story!
Seagazer
We're off to watch this soon as YS has read the book(s) - he was worried the film wouldn't be as good as the books. Its great to know that its a good film.
Couperwife
I went to see this last night and loved it I thought that there was just enough "fact" in there for it to be interesting, but not too much to make it dull and boring (if that makes any sense ) I would recommend it cathy x

Helly Welly
We liked it as well, DD loves the books so was very eager to see it. I think they'll probably make the next one, fingers crossed Wasn't sure about Steve Coogan as Hades but he grew on me.
Cinnamon
I thought it was genius casting Didn't the young girl in it have the most stunning huge blue eyes?
Seagazer
Just back from seeing the film and yes the girl did have gorgeous eyes (bit like my DD's actually ) lucky thing. We all enjoyed the film although YS was miffed that they'd left quite a bit out from the book but he liked it. I rather liked Kevin McKidd in his rather fetching skirt actually makes a change from seeing him in his scrubs.
BarbaraJ
We went Sunday and i really enjoyed it, a reason i love my cinema card, i go to see lots of films i probably wouldn't bother with otherwise and am often pleasantly surprised we saw 'My name is Kahn' and really enjoyed that too. It was a bollywood film and were very surprised at the length and the fact there was an interval and every one went out for a break , we thought it had finished
