buffie
Hello I wasn't sure how to go about this but I decided today what will be will be so here goes. I had an idea for omlet, they've said call them but the source I'd found to help me isn't reliable, so cannot approach omlet again at present. I wanted to see if anyone is interested in doing this and also would you guys buy the product. I am assuming this is a new idea but hey ho if it isn't, life goes on. I wanted to approach the guys with eglu and chicken themed cards/notelets and a calendar, hoping I could negotiate and I would be the agent. I have ideas for themes and thought the christmas market would be fab if it's not too late. 'Eglu' being the difference from other chicken cards. I wanted some myself hence the idea. Any interest, would love to hear from you. Bx (jayne in the real world) Edited because I couldn't understand it myself!! Cinnamon
Nice idea. Have you thought about trying them on eBay, to see if there is a market? There seem to be a lot of chicken related products........& people do collect, so it might be worth a bash.

Jem
Hi Switching into business mode for a moment... In addition to my main job I also own a small metallic foil printing business. If you want to give your cards that extra something there's nothing like a touch of gold or silver for attracting the magpies amongst us. extra special rates for chicken lovers Cheers Jem PS. not sure if this will be classed as advertising and I apologise if it's frowned upon. I don't want to upset anyone, so please Mods remove this post if it offends
Nicola H
Not offended Jem I think it can stay..................... Especially as chicken lovers get a discount.....

Popcorn
Hello Buffie - long time no post! It's definalty worth a shot I think. Are you thinking of doing this yourself? If you need a good card/materials supplier I know one. I make wedding invites etc and find them brilliant.

buffie
Hello Buffie - long time no post! It's definalty worth a shot I think. Are you thinking of doing this yourself? If you need a good card/materials supplier I know one. I make wedding invites etc and find them brilliant. Hi Gina, yep I'm back. Well I was hoping to find an artist and get the designs (funky drawings of eglu and chickens with christmas theme to start, silly eglu related slogans etc) get these printed up and supply omlet, if they like the idea. They are busy and I can organise the project and supply them. Perhaps a small charitable donation from profits too. I did have an artist interested I thought but sadly I don't think they are going to come up with the goods, I like to be efficient and not everyone has that sense of reliability. I hoped for an everyone wins situation and something light to work on as a sideline to my therapeutic work, which is more intense. Oh well not sure if anything will come of this but it's out there now and we'll see. Can you pm the supplier to me too, that's great!! Have to say I've missed this and you all! kannie
I was hoping to find an artist Hi - sorry for this belated posting, but we've just come back from holiday and our chicken sitter, who is also an artist, has left us a lovely water colour of our two! He'd obviously rather warmed to them, which was great! So if you still want a chicken painting artist, I could ask....
boogaloostoo
Hey Buffie, My best mate Fred is an illustrator (similar style to Quentin Blake). his website should give you a good idea of his work, find it at www.blunt-illustration.co.uk.
