First hello to all you chicken lovers and i hope one of you can help me. i dont yet have chickens i'm picking up my first ones on monday, i had my cube (cube red) delivered from omlet and put together for me by the driver , unfortunatly i was at the doctors while this happend and my farthering law just told the man were i wanted it put. There seem to be a few gaps that you can see alot of day light through is this normal , being new to chickens i want it to be right before i put any birds in it !!!!

After having an eglu I was suprised athe th amount of gaps/ daylight but it doesn't leak and the chooks have got the hang of getting up the ladder. I still need to persuade them that they shouldn't be sleeping in the nest box! If it was a competition to see how many chooks can fit in a nest box I think mine would win as they all seem to pile in on top of each other and there is enough room to fit a small hefalump in the roosting bar section :D
