We got new chickens yesterday, they all slept together last night in the eglu, that was great, let them out this morning that was great too, then Nellie our old chicken decides to start clucking and now wont stop, how long will this last for. She was in the nesting box and then one of the newbies decided to go into the eglu too and now nellie wont stop clucking, dont want to get complaints from neighbours. Ain't Nobody Here Posted March 21, 2010 Share Posted March 21, 2010 My girls are being really noisy today too for some reason . Distraction works best (which is fine if you're at home ). I chucked some corn in the run, that kept them quiet for a bit. If you have some corn on the cob or something else to peck at, that might help?
