Not been had tickets for the weekend but just couldn't get there. Visit my brother on Saturdays and E had her ballet rehearsal on Sunday so something had to give.

Just got back from the Ideal Home Show. I was a bit disappointed, as, although it was much busier than last year, there didn't seem to be as many stands or things to do as in previous years.

 

I found the Omlet stand as soon as we walked through the entrance, but it was about a third of the size of last years and no lovely photos or half assembled Eglus to look at (but the was a Beehaus). Omlet didn't want me to help out this year and I am sorry to say, that the one guy on the stand looked a bit bored! Sorry sorry sorry if you are a forum member!

Crikey - the stand last year wasn't huge so it must be really diddy this year. I will be there next Tuesday so if anyone is going then - come up and say hello.

LOL - I dont think i would describe it as boredom to be honest, i did not have a chance to be bored....

 

I'd describe it more like completely exhausted having been at the show since it first opened...

 

Sorry i was not more freshed faced after 7 days... I will try harder next week to have more of a spring in my step for the last week and if you do get to meet me next week, don't be too hard on me...

It appears they didn't want us to help either but I'll never know as they didn't bother replying to me . They definitely got my email as I got the acknowledgement (no doubt automatic) of that but obviously couldn't be bothered to respond.

Hmmmmmm Quinomlet. Sorry to hear that you were exhausted. I did a couple of days last year and know how tiring it can be but I am sure there were several Forum members who would have willingly helped you out. See below!

Janepie33 & Lydia - i can only apologise that I did not reply to your email i was completely snowed under and also found that sometimes emails did not get through or went straight to spam... As you say it would have been nice of me to respond, so again I am sorry for overlooking you both...

 

Judging how busy the show has been I have decided that it may be wise to have one extra person on Thursday 1st April so if this date suits either of you, please let me know by emailing me at quin@omlet.co.uk not through the forum...

 

With regards to future shows that i have been emailed about - i have not replied to these as organising the Ideal Home Show has been all consuming and i've not had the chance to look at dates for shows in the future, but rest assured I will and I will make a concerted effort to get back to everyone...
