I have just been down the garden to sort it out and I can't get one of the screws out of the eglu. The cross bit of the screw has turned into a round hole and I think that the screw bit has rusted. I have managed to manoeuvre the run round the side of the round metal washer but I wondered whether anyone had any bright ideas to try and get the screw out? I have sprayed a bit of WD40 to try and loosen it but that doesn't seem to have worked. Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Redwing Posted March 26, 2010 Share Posted March 26, 2010 now the run is off is there enough gap under the screw for you to grip the screw head with pliers and use them to turn the screw if the screw is stuck use the pliers to tighten it a bit, this then helps you loosen it (for some reason!!)
