A chickychickychick-ENN!!
How could you not, with a product name like that?!
The Dogmother
You nutter! I beg to differ , but the first two (main) ingredients are silicones... Ingredients: Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Silk, Ethylhexy Methoxycinnamate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Fragrance.
..lay a little egg for me
ok - this is where you all think I've lost it - but honest - I'm deadly serious.... I use Cowboy Magic - http://www.cowboymagic.com/ - for both myself and the ponies ! You need the tiniest amount. A little goes a very long way. It makes your hair gorgeous and soft and smooth. No silicones which break hair and loads of silk amino proteins. You can probably pick it up on Ebay - or at most really good tack shops ! I used to use that too! But now both horse and I have tangled hair
sunshinesupernova
Claret - sorry - I always believed Cowboy MAgic to be silicone free. Dunno where I got that idea from then. Good stuff though and you're welcome to a tiny bit to try if you like...
WitchHazel
Thanks for sorting out the SPAM Claret... on the plus side, it was interesting re-reading this resurrected thread. Do you still use Moroccan Oil on your hair? What's been your experience since the thread was first opened?
The Dogmother
Yes I do still use it Hazel and I have to say that it works wonders, better than any other silicone serum that I have used. My hair takes a lot of abuse - it is now nearly white (when it is fully white, i will go au naturel) so is coloured with a permanent colour every 5 weeks, I don't do lots of blow drying or straightening though as it's a wash and go style. I use only Aveda products too - a friend gets them very cheaply for me - as they are the best non-SLS ones I have found.. not to mention being addicted to the smell of the Shampure shampoo
WitchHazel
Thanks Clare, I think I'll give it a try as our hair (and non hair-drying) sounds similar.
