Nugget the is losing her feathers on top of her head so she is looking like a bald eagle!

I will get a photo if you want but wondered what it could be.

 

I havent actually seen them pecking her and would they peck her head? There is no blood and her comb is fine - she is laying and eating.

 

I have looked her over and cant see anything but will have anothter look tomorrow too.

Sounds like a moult to me. It usually starts around the head.

Yep. Around a year is normal. She might stop laying, some do and some don't.
