I have a Shetland too she is top dog in my eglu putting 2 Nova Sussex and a Nova Ginger in their place even though she is only pint size. No blue egga though- the breeder said they would be blue but they are very pale beige.

I have a very strong feeling mine wont be laying any blue eggs either. She doesnt have the quiffy hairdo either

Mine doesn't have the quiffy hairdo but her eggs are certainly green.

 

Don't give up hope yet.

Thanks Janty Although at the moment Im more concerned with her sneezing, Ive given her citricidal in her water and then moved onto Lifeguard. I think a trip to the vets is next

Well, Took Tyra to the vets this morning. The vet said her lungs sound ok which is a relief. Was given Baytril so hopefully that'll sort her out. I have to give it to her twice a day for 10 days, sounds a long time to me, does that sound right?

I was told twice a day for a week, but we didn't have any specific symptoms to work with

Me too, Thanks. Thing is I know I could take her back and exchange her but I also know she wouldnt get the care and treatment shes getting here. I think I would be sending her to her death to be honest. so she is staying put and GETTING BETTER!
