chick wiggle
Oh Janty, your shetland looks beautiful, Tyra is just all black, it was all he had, she might get a bit of colour as she grows maybe. I gave her a bath this morning as she was filthy, and she loved the warm hairdryer too. then she had a super long cuddle where she was falling asleep. Now i have put her in her own little cage next to Talulah so they can still see each other but i dont Talulah to catch anything. I have put the heat lamp on her too to keep her nice and warm and citracidal in her water. I cant think of anything else i can do for her. I hope she gets better

Chicken Shirl
I thought you had bought a pony, so not been paying this thread any attention. Never heard of a Shetland hen. ................She is gorgeous Sandie, not a bit like a crow Love the Shetland cross breed, very beautiful. Hope you have ordered the eggs. Got plenty of time on your hands to do a bit of chick cuddling.
chick wiggle
Hee heeeeee yeah I know I've asked him to post me some week after next, that should be perfect timing. I had never heard of Shetland chickens either Shirl, but after much in depth and time consuming research, well, I asked Redwing I thought they looked good, and an 80% chance of blue eggs too, fingers crossed for that. chick wiggle
Tyras still sneezing this morning but doesnt seem as bad, hopefully shes on the mend. i asked the vet this morning, as I was taking bunny for mixi booster, if she would sell me some Baytrill, but said she had to see her first I dont really want to stress her by taking her to the vets so I'll wait another day or two.
