kerryegg Posted April 4, 2010 Share Posted April 4, 2010 As some of you may have read, I collected 3 POL yesterday to join Ginger after Pepper died. Separated off part of the run and put Ginger in the summer house and let 3 new ones sleep in the eglu. Reversed the process this morning, Ginger in run with eglu, where she laid an egg and 3 young ones in the' secure ' wired off bit. Lots of squacking and agro through the wire. When we weren't looking all 3, individually managed to get out of the enclosure and lay an egg in the eglu nesting box. First day and 3 eggs from great escape artists. What a great Easter surprise. Now all separate again and I'm back in the garden to try and stop further agro. Tomorrow I will try Ginger in the small area and leave the 3 new ones in the run. 4 eggs today, yippee.
