Hi did anyone else see the hen house being sold on QVC yesterday?

 

I wasn't especially taken with the design but it did strike me how mainstream or maybe faddish keeping chooks is becoming.

ok well that doesnt look too bad, the wood is a decent thickness and they havent made any outlandish claims on how many chooks it can house

 

Its not my cup of tea but its a lot better than the rubbish imports currently flooding the market

Missed it but isnt the photo deceptive? It looks huge, almost like you could walk through that door, but looking at the measurements its tiny Sounds like its well made though.

Looks very similar to this which little bro has housing his bantams.

 

It is good wood and the housing is very spacious - no nestbox though but nothing a cat carrier didn't sort out

 

Price is a tad different though

Those measurements have to be wrong, thats the size of the coop only surely, no way is that 23" deep

 

I'd say it probably is a metre or so square so withdraw my previous comment about otlandish claims

 

Still it does look quite well built
