scarlettohara
Does anyone have just one in their eglu. Scarlett is currently in our conservatory but I put her out in her run this pm for a couple of hours (the little border terrier never left her side but when I put her back in the crate for the night she was really cross - pushing at the door as if to say 'let me out!'. I wonder if she would be better in the eglu house or will she be really lonely
chelsea
Chickens are flock animals and really do better with company. When we were left with a lone hen after the death of her friend we went out and got 2 more friends for company and she certainly was a lot happier. scarlettohara
Thanks Chelsea, she is recovering from a fox attack so I have to wait a bit before I get anymore but as she is doing well atm I'm hoping it won't be too long.
