Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

I have worked out how to introduce new chickens to Scarlett (who is doing brilliantly) I have a big rabbit hutch in my lockable shed which I could use for the new ones at night but don't know what to use for roosting bars - any ideas? Also how to section off the eglu run in the day or use a large freestanding rabbit run that I already have and just stand that on grass - however how would I make it secure to stop a fox getting underneath?

how about a broom handle or shoe rack?

Some people have put several garden canes through the mesh of the eglu run to seperate it into two halves.

What about using some of the eglu bars. I think they come in sections

The hens will snuggle in the rabbit hutch, they will be fine without perches for a while. An alternative is to make a couple of free standing perches (2" wide for LF 1.5" for bantams) A bit of wood screwed in to two others to make an H shape is fine
