stoice
I've been giving poor Gladys her baytril with the dinky syringe the vet gave me. Perfect for the job as she only needs a tiny dose daily. But it got me thinking about her being off her food and if she's getting enough water either. I've just managed to get some avipro as well as Critical Care Formula and the CCF can be used as a scoop of powder in their water or made up and fed directly to your poorly chook. I'd be ages getting a teaspoon full of dosed water into her with my tiny syringe. Where can i get a larger one for this purpose? Amazon sell them for pence but then the postage is over £2 I just wondered if somewhere like Boots or superdrug sell something similar in the baby section maybe? Thanks guys
staceychristie
Any dispensing chemist should do them. I had a few larger ones (capacity unknown) to dose one of ours. Our ones cost about 10p each. Stacey

Lewis
Our feed store usually has a couple. I'm sure if you asked at the vets they'd give you a couple/let you buy some
Egluntyne
You can get them from supermarkets, sold for dosing small children with calpol and the like. I paid less than a quid for one not so long ago
staceychristie
I looked in ASDA last week, and their dispensing chemist sells them. You'll have no problem getting them I'm sure. Stacey
stoice
That's where I got mine Stacey, thanks. Unfortunately I don't need it now though as poor Gladys didn't make it. But it's going in the chicken/dog medical cabinet as it's useful to have. Thanks everyone. x
