Hello all,

 

I am now getting so excited I am bursting!

 

My garden will soon be paved and the walk in run ready to go in!

 

One thing I want to sort is the feeder and water. Ideally I would like to sell the eglu run so not take parts of it off, however I would like to use the eglu feeder and water holder. So can you buy pieces of run from Omlet so I can attach to the WIR for the feeders?

if you have an Ikea near you you can buy some Kroken utensil rails and they hold the feeders and drinkers on them without having the expense of buying parts of a run

 

Theres a few others ways to hang the feeders, my husband made me little brackets, others hang them from skirting etc..

I hang mine from a clothes airer. Got the idea from someone on this forum - so thanks.

Ikea is about 40mins drive (so 80mins total!) so not impossible so get to so is an option - I was just being lazy and wanted something delivered to my door!!!

I bought one of these a while back... click and turn to page 6 green coated mesh composter frame

I'm going to use them to fence of a veg patch from the girls. My mum has bought two and is going to connect two together and with pea netting over the top her girls can have some garden space (without trashing her precious plants) while she's out with them.

You could cut one of these up as the feeders would hook on no problem. I've used a panel of something similar bought from a DIY store in the garden section for about a fiver. (Like this stuff... I then cut it up and placed it at 45 degrees against the mesh of my WIR hooking the top part of the wire over the mesh, and voila.

I will try and get to Ikea at some point soon I think or order them on Ebay.

 

In the meantime i do have floor standing feeders and drinkers which will do - but they flick poo and aubiose into them so need them up higher.
