When to worm ?

Recommended Posts

Have a hunt round the forum for more detailed responses, but in a nutshell, you can worm your hens now if you feel they need it. Flubenvet can be given from an early age. If they are free ranging, then it is a good idea to worm them 3 or 4 times a year.

Try googling 'Flubenvet', and you will find several sites from which you can purchase it.

For your purposes, the 1% should be adequate, and the instructions about dosage are on the pack. :D

So if they free range should they be wormed sooner - I've had mine 10days which is premature to ask- but just wondered when I should think about it? I need to order the stuff and will go for Flubenaet or whatever its called. Thanks for link. They are Omlet hens - just wanted an idea - forgot to ask man. They have been free ranging for 5 days no and love it. Go back into Eglu when had enough which is amazing - all I need now is to oick them up. We are going to try at dusk this weeken when they are sleepy as sugg by you guys
