hi all

i need a bit of advice if poss please

one of my girls is pecking at one of the others and drawing blood ,i have a cube at the mo but feel like i really need to seperate them ,i cant collect my classic till a week tomorro as the bloke im buying it from hasnt finished building his new one yet .

 

my question is my local home bargins has a cheap £20 guinia pig hutch with a built in run . could i put my pecked girl in there till i get my eglu ,or will it be far to small ? i cant afford to spend loads as ive just got my cube and i have to pay for my classic next week ,

 

what do you think ?

 

if not what else can i do

yes as much as i can give her im off work for the week so she can be out from about lunch till dusk

thanks all thats what im going to do ,fingers crossed they still have some tomorro when i get there ,but i have 4 shops close s i will drive round them all if they are sold out at my local

Just be careful that it is as fox proof as it needs to be.

If it's not going to be in a WIR you'll have to make it extra secure. We looked at them and they're not very substantial.

i only need it till i can get my eglu next tuesday . ive got to do something as the other girls are really going a gravy

My new girl is in the guinea pig run as I type. The guineas use it in the day and she can free range and at night I put her in it. It is inside the proper run so fox proof.
