I was wondering the opposite. Is there any practical way to keep the hens off my strawberries?

I have given my lot strawberries (past their best from my crop) and they love them and seemed to have to ill effects

Netting about 1.2m high does the job here, a clipped wing may also help

Mine dont like strawberries although they'll eat the green stalk bits!

 

Bet they would like them if I was trying to grow them though

I make strawberry necklaces for mine

Not I hasten to add to mut around their necks

Core them, I use a skewer, thread through with string make a circle and hang up.

Keeps them quite for ages.

My girls really enjoy strawberries, expecially cheryl, the turkey, they dnt do any harm to my girls.
