Can anyone one tell me how many pekin bantams can fit comfortably into a cube?

Lots I reckon. I have had 15 bantams in my cube at one time with space to spare but you really need to consider the run size rather than the cube.

I agree, I had 7 Pekins in my Eglu, and there was still room to spare, so a Cube will be no problem in terms of sleeping. The bigger consideration, as Falkor says, is the run area, and also nesting box space once they are laying.

OMG yes...nesting box issues!

 

A couple of my bantams HATE to share their nestbox....cue shrill screeching and scuffles

With a large run, up to 16-18 bantams should be fine I would have thought. As for nesting box space, you can always make another nesbox out of something - a small plastic box under the cube maybe.

Yes, the cube itself is massive and you can get loads of bantams in, but it's the size of the run that's the crucial ingredient. Plus how much free ranging time you can give them. I have 3 bantams in a cube with a standard run. They rarely free range except at weekends ( when they prefer to come in the house to pinch the cat food rather than go in the garden - or I mean that patch of land which resembles the surface of the moon these days.. )

 

I'd put another in there maybe with my set up but would hesitate to stretch it more.
