louise76
She has been successfully re homed and is living the good life in my friends vast smallholding. For a bird that shunned all the others in our coop, I have been txt'd pictures of her snugged up between 2 other birds at my friends.... Obviously ours was not her idea of a des' res'? We have successfully introduced 2 isa browns this last week and now have a little flock of 5 I had promised my husband we'd just go and take a look at the breeder and came home with the two newbies.... They are the most brilliant hens. Been part of the gang a week, already laying and the funniest friendly ladies! If you open the hen house or run they leap into your arms for a head scratch/hug. Which unsettled me at first as I don't really see them as 'pets'. But I'm getting used to it and it is rather sweet..... Liz and her gang of 5.... (1 French maran, 2 Babcock rangers and 2 isa browns.)
