Christian
She probably isn't eating the pellets as the treats taste so much better If she is better, then withhold all treats and she will soon start eating pellets. Hens won't starve themselves unless they are ill.
daj198
Have you tried worming her? Just a thought...
tara
She has just been wormed and had antibotics and if l dont feed her her crop is remaining empty.Shes been flicking her head every so often. Her comb is red again but not has high as it should be.She was very ill but l am worried that shes still got the same problem as before but with no infections. She loves tomatos but if l put her pellets there she just walks away she is thin but im trying to build her back up.It cost me £40 at the vet its the head flicking l just cant work it out
Egluntyne
Try mixing them with water to make a sloppy mush. That might tempt her. Has she been on antibiotics and got a sore mouth? One of mine once had this.
chickyhazel
One of our friends tried mixing the pellets with a small amount of corn. It works, but after a while the chickens learn to pick out the corn.
