Hi I was just wondering if anyone ever had an eglu cube stolen? I dont live in the best of areas and am a little worried incase it gets stolen, and also as it is outside im sure it wont be covered under the house insurance?

I was thinking I could get a GPS tracker which i could discreetly attach underneath so if it ever goes walkies, I will be able to track where it ism the only thing is the one I have found,is about £50 (which is worth it considering the high value of the cube) but the battery life only lasts 4 days so i would keep having to change them.

anyone else got anything similar or any suggestions?

thanks

ok guys thanks for your advice, im in the process of bulding a WIR, ive designed it so that it wont fit the cube through whilst its built, as ive not yet ordered the cube yet i was just a little worried but feel assured now. I think the spotlights could be a good idea. thanks

I've never seen a Cube IRL, but i expect that they are heavy.. and will take alot of people to lift it, and many people mean teamwork= noise  you could always get a noise monitor, or like you said a tracker ( put on charge in the day, and put it on at night.) but i dont think that anyone will go near chickens unless experianced, and if there anything like my birds, they will tell you if there is a intudor.
