It's day 21 and I've just been out to give Muppet her lunch ( yes, she's a spoilt broody, I give her a handful of corn while she's on the nest ) and she kept stopping eating to cluck to herself, also looked a bit fidgety, so I peeked under her wing and can see a bit of egg shell! daren't try to see anymore yet, but looks like we've definitely got one chick Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

meezers Posted May 21, 2010 Author Share Posted May 21, 2010 It's one of the salmon faverolles ( she's got 2 more favs and a silkie to hatch ) I fished out the bit of shell, but no sign of the chick it was under her other wing- had just a quick peek, looks quite fluffed up, so maybe it hatched this morning and I didn't notice !
