puffball
Today was beautiful wasn't it? Anyone got any chicken stories in the good weather?
Blackrocksrock
Just gorgeous this morning and then this afternoon the heavens opened with thunder and showers and how and more this evening but its really not cold = was too hot earlier before the thundery stuff. Only chicken story is walking round the garden by the bonfire and found a nest in the middle of the bonfire with 4 eggs in it - they are fresh as all sunk and have been a few days with only 1 egg so at least we found them. Will bake with them tomorrow. She is a real monkey!

Gelbel
I dug the garden and took all the hemcore out of the runs and dug it into the borders. The girls had been FRing for 4 hours but decided it was not long enough - the evil minxes took a world record 45 mins to get back in the run so I could shower and cool down. This was in the 30C heat of my suntrap of my garden. One burnt back and a very hot and bothered chooky mum later. You should've heard the threats of culinary outcomes laid upon those fluffy ears. Mollie333
Gave Blanche a bath.. gave her a cool blowdry, then put her out to free range. Betty and Edward decided to come in the house and scare my mum.. i guess they was too hot, and fancied a air conditioned house
