right, the paving slabs have been completed today so i can put the walk in run up on saturday( fingers crossed it all fits together- as i've designed and made it myself).

Just some questions:

should i put a dust bath in? and how deep/big should it be?

also, the WIR is 3.2m * 4m long. As of yet, i haven't thought about a roof and was just wondering if anyone could recommend anything? as its so long i dont think I will be able to get roof sheets to fit, without putting up roof joists - so any ideas please :-)

I've used Onduline. You can overlap them as they are corrugated. To stop them blowing off I ran battenes through the run, then used garden wire to secure it across the roof. Not put a gutter on yet, but might do it later.

Well done for slabbing though.

Dust baths are fine, but I've found that they just poop in it like cat litter. However they do tend to dust bath in the run material. I've used EasiBed and now using Hemp bedding, and they love it.
