Hello Everyone

 

We have 3 Rhode Rocks, and Poppy blessed us with our first egg today . She took about and hour to lay it in the middle of the afternoon. Is this normal or is it because it's her first egg as I thought they were meant to lay in the mornings?

They can lay at random times.

 

Sometimes they start off in the morning then it gets later and later and then they miss a day.

 

One of my new girls laid her first egg today (think it was Lily) I just found it when I shut them in tonight.
