Egluntyne
How long has she been like this? Is she able to drink? From your description, I would guess that she needs to see a vet.

Egluntyne
She really needs to see a vet, Jozza. Have you done a **Basic Health Check** to rule out anything obvious?

Redwing
I agree, either that or contact the breeder as you've only had the chicken a week or so I know you dont want to hear it but taking it to the show wont have done the chicken or other peoples chickens any good You said you trusted the breeder, if they are any good they will at least offer you adviceIn the meantime keep it away from the others, hopefully its just something in the eye but keep it apart in case its catching
Space Chick
Weeping/sore eyes can be a sign of respiratory illness too, Silkies are particularly susceptible. Susan, my silkie, had a bad eye like you described, she had eye drops from the vet and it was still no better and so now she (and the rest of the flock) are on antibiotics with suspected Mycoplasma. She does need a vet
Lewis
Ditto to what Tasha said ... Is she isolated from your other birds? I think she needs to see a vet
