Having looked at all your WIRs I'm not sure what size I would need. I have 8 hybrids and would like to section one end off for 2 bantams with an internal door, what size do I need and how much for the bantam part ? At the moment they fr all day but this will be different in the winter

I suppose the obvious answer is as big as possible. But that is not much help.

Will your cube be inside or outside the WIR - and would you be able to incorporate the cube run into the WIR so they have that space and the WIR space?

I would guess that you'd need a WIR of 10sq metres as a minimum. You could then put other levels in it. But that doesn't allow much room for those extra hens.

I think I shall be just wading in mud in the winter.

I have asked Tony for a quote for 12x6x6 feet so that isn't big enough - sorry not very good at metres  Does he normally take a long time to reply ? The cube would be on the outside and I could incorporate the run - how would I attach it though ?

Could someone post a picture of theirs so I can get an idea of size and cost (if you don't mind) or pm me :D

My WIR is a 'Tony'

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=63334

We've had it a month now and its great - easy to keep clean; the girls are very happy; its very secure [i don't worried about foxes getting in]

I have both a cube and classic on the outside

my dimensions are 15 ft x 6 ft x 6 the cost was approx £560

the following were extra; the cost was approx £410

Sloping translucent roof

Guttering, end caps and down pipe

Cube attachment port and ladder

2 x Glug and Grub Holder

Delivery

On site construction

Free standing perches

internal door

table for classic & port for classic

very well worth it - its well constructed, secure and it was all erected in under 2hours all with no hassle.
