I'm thinking of adding an additional 1m run to my Cube (cube green) to make a 5m run for my lovely ladies

GNRGNRGNR(white chicken)(Bluebelle)

Just wondering if anyone else has done this and if it's affected the manoeuvrability of the cube around the garden?

I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts, thanks!

Hi, my Cube run is 5m long, and I've only ever moved it once, when we moved house ourselves. I would be interested to hear how/whether you manage to move your 4m run around? Once I added the second extension, I decided that I wasn't going to move the run around anymore, it was just too heavy and unwieldy....

The Cube and first run length used to be separate from the others (but attached with velcro straps) so that I could reverse it out of the way for access on cleaning days, but since I invested in the new front panel with the larger door, I don't need this feature any more.

Ps. Couldn't resist the temptation of including a picture. (Spot Ethel the naughty leghorn!)

Thanks for all your advice! I went ahead and added the extra run section and moving it is fine! It requires two people, one at the rear pushing the cube and one inside the run supporting it. I think the key is that we have reinforced the joins with extra clips and cable ties. I'm really pleased that it's worked as it means my ladies will have ample space to roam safely during the day whilst I'm at work. When I return home they have a paddock to free range in with supervision! The 5m run also looks surprisingly good (a bit like a strange canal boat but otherwise quite smart!)
