We are getting quite excited as we are getting ready for tonight's concert. Wondered whether anyone else was going??

 

Also - (and I appreciate that I have left it too late to post this but this week has been manic!) is it fairly straightforward to get taxis from Wembley after a concert? I have never been up there before and have responsibility for four teenagers so am slightly worried about that.

 

I am planning on embarrassing my kids hugely

Erm not really. Your best bet is to walk on to the main street and hail one but you'll have a lot of competition as the venue empties.

 

If I were you I'd either book a parking space and drive there (very easy) or head to the tube which is an easy walk and there'll be loads of people heading that way so it'll be obvious.

Just got home!!!

 

Nightmare journey. We caught a bus in the end to where I had parked the car but I think that there were a few accidents around because we met some other people who had been there in the services and they had been stuck in the car park for ages and then stuck on the North Circular.

 

The icing on the cake was when we were twenty minutes from home, there were roadworks and we were stuck there for an extra forty minutes.

 

Having got up at 5.30 this - no sorry - yesterday morning, I am now off to bed.

 

On the plus side EXCELLENT concert and they were their usual energetic self with loads of crowd participation and a fantastic atmosphere...so worth it all in the end.
