I s'pose I should have expected it with the footie on but left boys to watch over hens (they do pop and look for them) and went to work. OH then arrives 1/2 hr later and does dinner. I came home to find my buzzie lizzies had been scalped and the minxes had a go at the rhubarb but not got to my tomaotes which I had baracaded in. They have worked out if its near the house its either nice to look at or edible  I have moved some plants to top of rabbit hutch but they are so flipping cunning - and we think foxes are cunning - they have nothing on my 3. Having tutted crossly at them they followed me in the garage where I keep their corn and then swat for a cuddle - cant be cross for long

Be careful with the rhubarb - it's said to be poisonous / not good for chickens.

Little devils aren't they? Thats the reason that my plants are in hanging baskets & in a separate area now. There were once 3 bottoms poking out of my mini poly tunnel. The poly tunnel was shaking & my sweetcorn, radish, beetroot & leeks totally gone! Hmmm

I just love my chooks though, so I soon got over it.
