Ys's friend is a marine and arrived back for a break yesterday. I think they are planning a minor celebration tonight!

My SIL & her partner run a cafe in Babbecomb and are having an Armed Forces Day photo display in their cafe.

Lots of different customers, family & friends have loaned their photos of service men & women dating from the first world war to present day and they have framed them and have them up on display.

The bunting is up too!

I'd heard a bit about this - the British Legion in Enfiled is organising a parade I think. A great idea to show some recognition for the forces.
