gooner.girl
Monday is NO GOOD Chelsea! We go home home on tuesday!!!!! Your sis will have fun - Dartmoor in the rain - we're on the edge of Dartmoor here and its windy as well as rainy... If its sunnier tomorrow am off to Fingle Bridge... (btw whatever happened to your house move? I wondered that after trying to persuade DH to get a thatched cottage down this way looking in estate agents window this morning...) Cech can't be as bad as Lehmann against Fulham... I picked Cashley cos i thought Chelsea would keep a few clean sheets.....
chelsea
They are going to River Dart Park near Ashburton, not that far from you. I LOVE fingle bridge (nice pub) and the walks are fab. We are still looking for the country idyll, but houses like that little pink cottage we nearly bought dont come up very often.....as I regularly point out to OH ...I wasnt bothered it was on a flood plain! Have a great weekend.

May be to chilly for a paddle this year though... And to keep this topic vaguely footy related - was trying to find "Ooops, word censored!"nal on radio on wednesday and got Torquay Utd instead!!!! The truths all coming out now... Next Martin will admit he's been picking Martin O'Neills brains - hence why his progress over the past season has been so dodgy... Looney
Hello there - thank goodness it is Friday! Or should that be Thank Crunchie it's Friday? Haven't had a Crunchie for ages....mmmmm! Anyway I digress (a tad ) and onto far more serious matters: Birmingham 1 West Ham 2 Newcastle 2 Aston Villa 1 Portsmouth 2 Bolton 0 Sheff Wed 0 Wolves 1 Liverpool 1 Chelsea 2 Blackburn Rovers 0 "Ooops, word censored!"nal 2 By the way, who does the washing of the football kits? Do teams have a special washing person - I like that idea! I bet they just contract with a big firm though... Perhaps I should drink less Ribena - I'm feeling a bit odd
Martin B
Yes, they have a kitman. But these days the footballers don't wear the same kit twice. They have 1 kit per game. The worn kits, get auctioned for charity or sold in the club shop for rip off prices.

chelsea
Rob styles is a muppet....is he the new graham poll? hes more interested in getting himself in the headlines than letting the football do the talking. booked essien on 11mins for his 1st tackle, stupid yellow cards here there and everywhere, how he saw a penalty is beyond me ??? (but I'll take the point !! ). chelsea were pants today. good thing though - got my blackburn/"Ooops, word censored!"nal prediction right !!! AND man'ure lost - yippeeee. oh - and i change my defender in the fantasy league - i did pick micah richards - and changed him and what happens??? he gets man of the match today? gooner.girl
Ok, bear with me - i'm not a maths wizz like Phil but he asked me to fill in for him when he was away. If anyone spots their score is wrong then PM me and i will change it. Bit of a low scoring week this week. One no show (Hello? Seagull?!) and 3 people who didn't score at all! (no names mentioned - Dan, Annie and Emma ) Helen scored 6 with 2 correct scores! (Can always rely on "Ooops, word censored!"nal to muck it up against B'burn ) Next highest scorer was Chelsea with 5 - also correctly predicting "Ooops, word censored!"nals down fall (shudda been less optimistic about her own teams chances! ) Then Lorna, Martin and Ali all scored 3 each. Debs and Phil pulled in 2 and Clash 1. Anyhow the table is as follows... Helen - 11 Lorna - 8 (go Lorna! the girls not even a footy fan but shes thrashing the boys! ) Debs - 7 Annie - 7 Chelsea - 7 Ali - 7 Martin - 5 Phil - 4 Emma - 3 Dan - 3 Seagull - 3 Clash - 3 Girls still on top of course! Boys, i think you owe us females a   Edited August 19, 2007 by Guest
