Guest
OK here's the reckoning!! A big welcome to Emma - she was joint top-scorer with Annie this week - both with 6 points!!! I have given Emma a 30pt late-entry bonus - just to make it interesting at the bottom - she is now only 2 points off Martin.. martin is therefore NOT bottom for the first week ever!! Well done Martin!! (even if you did only get 2pts again!!) Annie is storming up the table!!!! Lorna is back down to earth with a crash after last week's success!! 1pt!! Dan gets a creditable mention with five Chelsea loses her third spot - and seems to be on the slide!! Helen and Phil score two each and just about hold onto the top two places.. it's getting tight for the run in - I really did not expect still to be top!! Phil 58 Helen 56 Annie 54 Chelsea 52 Lorna 50 Dan 44 Martin 38 Emma 36 The Princess can be toppled!!! Princess Phil
Guest
I went to the Bolton-"Ooops, word censored!"nal game with Helen and Mike (gooner-boy) - they failed to get tickets in "Ooops, word censored!"nal end - so we all went together in the Bolton end... here they are blending in with the Bolton fans!! here's the three of us in the pub agreeing that Bolton were robbed! here's proof that on the forum it is just harmless banter - Helen and the Princess are good friends really! and here's Helen outside some tatty old building... some more here... http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/pnevard/"Ooops, word censored!"nalBoltonGame had a great day despite the result - thanks Helen and Mike! gooner.girl
Oooh! The tables getting close! How exciting! I did have a fab time at the footy - despite sitting in the Bolton end being torture - found myself drumming my feet instead of clapping - OH took the mick and Phil clearly found it hilarious i couldn't cheer for my team! Humph. However, it was lovely to see the princess again though we certainly didn't agree that Bolton were robbed and Highbury is not a 'tatty old building' OH's northern accent needs a lot of work and i didn't even try to blend in, but none of the Bolton fans seemed to care. Miserable lot. Hardly sang at all! .... And we won!!!
Guest
Yeah - OK - "Ooops, word censored!"nal won Mike went for hotdogs at half time - came back empty handed on account of the totally shoddy way away fans are treated at the Emirates! the poor blighter would have starved to death had it not been for my stash of Cadbury's chocolate eggs... some of the "Ooops, word censored!"nal fans reckoned Bolton were time wasting... Mmmmm... who got booked for time-wasting?? answers on a postcard!! here's Anelka scoring the best goal of the game... joking apart - was a great day - meeting up with helen and mike - they are quite nice for Gooners!! gooner.girl
ANNIE - Love the Photos! Its a fantastic stadium isn't it? MARTIN - Stop talking such Cap! And it is NOT a tatty old building! CHELSEA - it was a nightmare trying to keep quiet in the Bolton end, was looking longingly over at the "Ooops, word censored!"nal fans right next to us, most of the game... Not sure i could do it again, was horrible having to stand when they scored.... My OH HATES Liverpool, Chelsea! (more then he likes "Ooops, word censored!"nal...) Martin B
Liverpool are a very good side. Why does your OH hate them, because they are better than "Ooops, word censored!"nal?
gooner.girl
Nah he doesn't really give a stuff about "Ooops, word censored!"nal! He's a plastic gooner really And Liverpool are not better then "Ooops, word censored!"nal anyway!!! Look at the stats from this season... We have won 3 out of 4 against them (1 playing our U13 team! ) and scored 13 goals to their 8! I still don't understand why OH hates Liverpool so much, though he has tried to explain it. I think its cos he's an old gimmer and remembers them when they were all good and smug in the 80's. A bit like Man.U were in the 90's... People of a certain age either love or hate Liverpool eh Chelsea?!
Guest
MARTIN - Stop talking such Cap! And it is NOT a tatty old building! actually it's not - I had never seen the old Highbury facade before - Helen took me to see it.. I love art-deco!! It's actually quite moving to see it as it is now - even for a died-in-the-wool Bolton fan - cos I kind of know what it feels like to say goodbye to an old beloved stadium. There is nothing left of Burnden Park - it is a huge ASDA with massive car park - I have been in ASDA and tried to work out where the centre spot would have been - and bought some pants from where I thought it might be - but is very sad to go in there. The Reebok is not next door to the old Burnden site - so it is not as poignant as walking past the old Highbury - and with the facades being retained cos they are listed - it is quite a moving sight Phil

You'd be upset ref too, if you were in my boots!!! Looney
I put it down to age discrimination. I'll never get a bonus point, because I'm 15. Martin, Martin, Martin, Martin......where do I begin? First lesson you need to learn is that at 15 life just isn't fair. Secondly you are the only one that keeps pointing out the fact that you are a measly 15 years of age Thirdly......stop arguing with adults
