lizinsa
Hi, Can anyone tell me how long it takes for an eglu to be delivered. Also, I like in the north east so will need to get my own chickens, can anyone recommend a reputable breeder?
Egluntyne
Hello lizinsa Mine took about a week to arrive. Give the folk at Omlet a ring they are very friendly and will answer all your questions. I persuaded them to deliver hens to me even though I was out side the delivery area (by just a few miles) so why not ask? Good luck and welcome to the forum. Sheilaz
...but it can vary, depending on their schedule. But Omlet are excellent at advising you if you 'phone. If you are too far for the hen delivery (it's they don't want to jouney all day making drops with hens in crates) you can ask for a list of suppliers when you 'phone, or email Barbara@Omlet.co.uk or Google for Meadowsweet who will have a list of their agents. I've had 3 lovely hybrids from my local Meadowsweet agent. Roughly where (nearest town) in N.East? Maybe someone more local will answer if you put an approx location. Good luck, and welcome to the forum.

JohnP
I ordered mine at Easter and it'll be arriving on 2nd May. So, it can clearly take a little longer at times than some people have found. Still, it's given me more time to get things ready!
