It is hot and windy 106 so far, so I took a large shallow cake pan and filled it with about two inches of crushed ice, water, and spagetti, cut up cucumbers and cabbage. They are running in and out of it like mad, bobbing for cucumbers, stealing each others spagetti and discovering what cold means! The head hen/?roo slipped in it as she ran through and got a bit wet. All in all isn't youth wonderful. They have the shade and trees and bushes and I ran the sprinkler, but wanted to do something fun for them in this miserable weather.
