Jewels
Hi, can anyone tell me why one of my girls is laying large, mis-shapen,thin shelled eggs in which the whites of them are very watery. She has extra oyster shell etc but they always the same, she not laid a "normal egg" for months. She is coming up to 3 years old. thanks if anyone can help. Patricia W
I found one of my ex-bats did this - then she stopped laying altogether. I came to the conclusion it was an age thing Tricia
Plum
Agree. My gingernut is in second season of laying and lays softies, wonky eggs, strings of eggs and some good eggs but they always have small yolks and watery whites now.
Egluntyne
I'd say it was age related too.
Jewels
Hi, sorry for late reply to those that answered my question. Thank you all very much. Now I have my mine put at rest that it is just an age thing.
