HENthusiastic
Hi guys, I know nothing about quail apart from trailing this forum for an hour or two! My MIL phoned last night to say a relative had found a quail in the back garden and could we take it!! We said yes, as there is an empty eglu at the moment. Ive looked him up and I think hes a Japanese Quail (Named clarence!) Is this right please? Also, does anybody know where I can get him some wives anywhere near to Bradford? Does he look mature or do you think hes a youngster? I think hes dead cute. Hes got chick crumb and water and has had a bit of mixed corn. HENthusiastic
I'm really sorry to report that Clarence has sadly passed away . He was hunched and unhappy looking this morning. I hoped he was just suffering from the stress of his move. He was walking around a bit. Then about half an hour later I went to check him again and he was dead . Poor little love. He wasn't with us for long, but he was dead sweet. R.I.P. Clarence
