Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Right been some time.

 

We had a very very very windy day a few weeks ago and it knocked down the barrier between the pekin's and the big ladies but they had sorted everything out in the 10 mins they were together. So they have been in the garden together for a week at night. Today is their first day all together and they are loving it. Still the odd peck but perfect otherwise.

 

Today picked up an extremely cheap house for the ducklings. It can hold 20 chickens and is usually £450 but it was the last in stock in this tiny little place which is a garden pet shop type thing. Got the giant coop for £165 Going to have a lot of building to do next week as I am moving the older ladies in the shed with the pekin's which means building a couple of shelve things in their so there are 12 nest boxes.

 

Ducklings are 2 weeks old and will be going outside on good days when their run is done. Busy busy busy

Aw thanks. I am really really busy. I have been thinking talking and thinking and just thought in the end why would I go to other places. Not everyone can get on and their is conflict so why not.

Well he knows about it because he found the breeders but he keeps saying we wont get one but I know we will. I have him wrapped around my little finger.
