Wow that's a great house!

We have one just like it however not as wide, there is only one nest box divider. We paid around £140 for ours, which i think is all right.

 

The only problem with the house is, wooden floor boards are harder to clean than the plastic eglu ones.

 

A good buy though!

I don't like elgu's because how they look and how if you lean on them when they are hot they bend in. Wooden houses are my fav because they just look so good and I find easy to clean.

Yes the removable floor does make it much easier to clean, however mould is a bit of a problem late winter i find.

Aesthetically it is much nicer than the Eglu and does have a classic charm that I like! But then again the Eglu is much more practicle.

My eglu's are in full sun and don't bend...

And funnily enough when they get wet they don't swell up & make the doors stick,either

Must just be our friends eglu's then. And a couple of people's on here and in winter we wrap wooden houses up or put heat lamps in them .

 

They do have a lovely charm.

 

And thank you I love my ducklings they are so cute and are doing so well. They are out because they got too big for the rabbit hutch

No mine doesn't bend either, and has a removable floor - find it really easy to clean + get rid of any red mite

... ooh and no wrapping it up or heat lamps in the winter

Eglu's are also just too expensive for me. I have a budget for each house under 200. The shed was 200 the small coop was 114 and the big coop was 165.

Or just make one to your exact needs for less than £100? I made a 6ft x 4ft coop on wheels with removable floor, removable roof, sliding pop hole and the whole thing came apart for £90 and I must say, it look's pretty smart

I can't be bothered to do that. I made the chicken WIR and tried to make a duck house but ended up destroying it because it was wonky etc.
