joza2210
Hello , Well i decided to put a humidity gage in my incubator this time ... And today is day 21 and there is a japanese egg rocking with a crack in it and my dad text me and said the humidity has just reached 75 ... So i said quickly drop it , so he did and it is now around 50 - 55 % is this ok or do you think that they could of drowned in the egg by now Thanks Edited July 28, 2010 by Guest

Redwing
It depends on how long it was at 75 for Josh but you have a good chance that things will be ok Good luck

Lewis
Should be fine Don't be tempted to open the incy 'cos all the humidity will escape. Looks like its nearly out, good luck!

Redwing
that liquid doesnt look too good Josh, there should be little or no liquid at hatch as the chick should have absorbed the egg yolk by then Possibly caused by the high humidity If the liquid dries out out may seal the egg - I have had this happen once if the chick is still moving after 24 hours I'd be tempted to whip it out and check that the liquid hasnt dried out trapping the chick As long as the lid is open for a tiny amount of time it will be ok
