stelladaisy
Hi everyone, We got our two girls a few weeks ago now and they love to potter around in the garden. The only problem is all the poop they create whilst enjoying themselves on my patio! Firstly, can you potty train a chicken? And if so, does anyone have any tips on how to go about it? Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks!

Mercedes55
I think you would make a mint if you could They do put nappies on them in America so I hear, don't think my girls would be happy with that I once bought something called a flytesuit for my parrot, which I bought online from the USA and it was hilarious. It was like a little velcro thing that you put a tiny pad inside and fixed it around the parrot so that when they pooed if was all contained in that. My parrot would have nothing to do with it of course so I sent it back. You can potty train parrots as they are quite clever, but I've never heard of a potty trained chicken. Would be great if you could

jellykelly
Seeing this made me giggle. When I was in PAH last week, there was a toilet seat on the counter for cats Now I thought it was a joke product - but apparently you can train a cat to do it's business on the loo. Amazing! You can get a cat to do it, but I can't get my boy's to hit the massive hole in the loo! I'm googling like mad, but can't find the seat to show you
jellykelly
Found it! http://www.littlefluff.co.uk/products/0/92/Litter-Kwitter-Toilet-Trainer/detail.aspx?sid=92 Found a video too. http://www.kittygoespotty.com/?gclid=CNzDlcq4oqMCFepc4wodcEeO6A I did notice that the cat didn't wipe, nor did it wash it's paws on the way out

Bexibex
My friend had a little nappy for her dog that was held on with braces - she looked so cute but soon learnt how to get the nappy off. I hasten to add, the dog has a medical condition, hence the nappy and it wasn't a fashion thing! Great idea whilst it lasted though. I think my 3 cats would think I had gone mad if I tried to get them to use the toilet! Why use the toilet when they can annoy the neighbours by using their garden? Why do cats always go next door and not use their own garden? I have tried to tempt them to use their cat tray or our garden to no avail.
