Blue-DiamondChick07
I'm on day 13 with my first few Eggs, I lockdown on day 16? Or is it still 18 with Bantams? I'm so excited! Roll on next week
Griffin
Day 18 for both bantam & LF. In my experience bantams take just as long as LF, I've never had bantams hatch on day 18 although my LF Ancona did That was a shock when I went to turn the eggs for the last time and I saw she was half way out! Lewis
I got some bantam eggs for my uncle under a broody + they hatched last week, on day 20 - normally take the same or a similar time to LF
Blue-DiamondChick07
Lovely, thankyou for the replies - bit of a newbie to hatching... well, total newbie to hatching
Jools
I've only ever hatched under a broody, so she decides when to stop turning. My bantams eggs usually hatch on day 19, but last year I had some that went well over the 21 days.

Blue-DiamondChick07
They were orn this morning! around 5ish. Cute!! They look hot though do you have to reduce inncy temp now? Thats something I haven't read anywhere..
jellykelly
Awww - did they all hatch or are there still some more to come? If all have hatched and are fluffy, you can take them out and stick them into your brooder. If you still have more to hatch, leave them a little bit longer so as not to mess up the humidity by opening the incy. Congratulations btw!
